Egg Timer on Club Penguin Test Servers

Hey guys! Club Penguin launched a new system for kids to get off Club Penguin. I will discuss what it is, and why it’s here. You can find this egg timer on the new Club Penguin Test Servers by clicking HERE. Make the screen smaller and up top by the Moderator Badge you will see a clock that looks like this,

What it is, is an egg timer. The funny thing is it has nothing due with eggs! An egg timer is basically like a bomb. It has a time setter so you can set the time for whenever you want it to expire. Long ago, Club Penguin once was going to release this but never did. My guess is that they put it on the test servers, well to test! If you’re wondering why Club Penguin wants us to get off Club Penguin, because it’s for the parents!

How long can you stay on Club Penguin? This egg timer will not effect your playing time on Club Penguin if you don’t use it. However if you tell your parents, they can set it to any time they want. For example, they could set it for 3 hours. After 3 hours a message will pop up saying “Your egg timer for the day has ran out of time. Your timer will automatically reset.” Here is a picture:

If you click the option on the message that says “Learn More” you will be sent to a link talking about different activities, instead of staying on the computer all day. I don’t really like this decision made by Club Penguin, but it is true that there is plenty of fun activities to do instead of playing on the computer all day!
